From The Plasterfield Advertiser, Spring 2004 :

Chicago, Jan 8th - Tape Records President For Life Field Marshal Dr CJ Mitchell Dada (VC, DSO) yesterday did not deny rumours that 80s AGOFR legends Cyclefoot were planning to reform, allegedly to record a version of their 1981 classic "Ang*s Macc*rma*k's Dead" as a mark of respect  to the late J*e Str*mmer.

Mitchell (63) was rumoured to be manoeuvering to corner the entire AGOFR Cl*sh tribute market, following the recent recording of Bod Strummer and The Dun Guireaneros Pronounced Roddy Huggan's maxi-EP of Cl*sh songs (and a Lyn*rd Sk*n*d one). Music industry insiders believe Mitchell is aiming to foment an Oasis/Blur/Beatles/Stones/Kenny Fags/Costello-type chart battle hype in which he owns both parties.

A well-informed media source (well, a cove in Tommy Nicolson's) said yesterday that while no former Cyclefoot members were actually speaking to each other,  Roddy H and Wattie could maybe do it by posting a tape back and forth between their state-of-the-art recording facilities in Knock and The Mainland respectively. So how about it, coves...?
